All about the upcoming hobbit films!!!
For anyone excited or interested in the new hobbit films. This community is all about the latest info about the films.

1.)Be nice!
2.)Large pics need to behind a cut
3.) Unless you provide a link to your source, you must label your post as a "rumor" until it is confirmed otherwise (or you're asking a question)
4.) Any spoilers from the book should be behind a cut. This includes plot points!
5.) Be warned if you haven't read the book yet then there will most likely be tons of spoilers as more info about the films becomes known.
6.)Icons and art posts are allowed so long as they're from this current trilogy.
7.)Please no fan-fic posts.

The Hobbit was set to be directed by Guillermo Del Toro, with Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Phillipa Boyens writing the screenplay. The film is set to be shot in New Zealand, some locations will utilize the same sets from the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. The film will be in 3 parts all shot on location in New Zealand.
